As the world economic growing, the coal resource utility has been more series than ever. It is of significance to improve the Load control system and the combustion control system of the power unit for high boiler efficiency and energy reservation as well as economic efficiency.In this paper the cunctation of load respond in unit control system was analyzed and an improved combustion optimized control scheme based the radiative intesity inside boiler was proposed to deal with the dynamic delay and inertia of boiler in the conventional control system, and the research would promote the control strategy reform actively.First of all, the structures that make up the whole control system and their function were studied in this paper. Then the unit dynamic properties and the cunctation time were analyzed chiefly, and the load dynamic properties as well as the main steam pressure cunctation time were studied. Based the analysis an ideal scheme was proposed deal with the limitation of the conventional heat signal based the radiative intesity that could reflect the fuel varieties to optimize the combustion control system.The radiant property of 300MW pulverized coal boiler was studied. The results show that the radiation energy signal intensity has been proportional to boiler's load, fuel mass flow and other parameters which provided the argument for boiler combustion control optimizing by radiation signal.The radiative intesity was acquired by the Data Acquisition System based on the Labview Virtual Instruments system. The radiative intesity to the forward, backward, left side and the right side of the boiler was acquired as well as the variation of the boiler operation parameters.The radiative intensity inside the boiler can reflect the variation of the fuel exactly. The new control scheme imported the radiant energy signal to DCS since it was sensitive to the variation of the fuel and could reflect the variation of the heat inside boiler fast. The load response positivism and the stability of the pressure could be guaranteed by overcoming the disturbance of the fuel through the radiative intesity.The optimized control scheme was applied in a 300MW power plant unit.And the experiment researches show the load transition time was declined abuout ten minute which show that new optimized control system is predominant by improving the unit operation efficiency.
