As excellent magnetic performance and higher perforfance-cost ratio NdFeB permanent magnets was abord application in high-tech field .such as electron, electric , electromotor etal. But the corrosion resistance of NdFeB is very poor attributed to its mulitiple phase and the Nd element is very active. So how to solve the anticorrosion problem of bond NdFeB permanent magnets is the key of application.This paper studys the rapid solidfy organic sealing materials including inhibitor and its implement process. The sealing materials and sealing efficiency was studied by means of SEM. electrochemical salt spay test and hot-humid test. The result suggest that sealing material can form a water-fast anticorrosion coating in the magnets pores. The sealing coating can prevent the corrosion dielectric from permeating. The problem of present coating developing was solved by this mean.The effect of types of inhibitive pigment and its proportion on the anticorrosion of cathodic electrophoresis coating was studied by means EIS. electrochemical, salt spay test, hot-humid test, in result the inhibitor pigment C is high efficiency to the bond NdFeB permanent magnets. This paper also studied some other factor to the NdFeB permanent magnets electrophoresis paint. The anticorrosion capability of coating was improved efficaciously by modification of cathodic electrophoresis coating.The cathodic electrophoresis process for bond NdFeB permanent magnets was studied in this paper. With the effects of voltage, time, temperature and curing process on the corrosion resistance of the electrophoresis coating to be focused on. The best electrophoresis coating process is: magnet→ sealing →rinsing→ curing →phosphate→ rinsing→ electrophoresistion→rinsing→curing.The synthetical performance of electrophoresis coating was evaluated by means of SEM. Salt spay test, hot-humid test. The result suggest that the coating is combined with the magnets compactly. Namely the resultant electrophoresis coating on the bond NdFeB permanent magnets was able to endure salt-spaying up to over 400h.
