The bogie is one of the most important components on railway vehicle, it is significant for railway transportation security to identify the state and diagnose the fault for bogie.Based on HMM (Hidden Markov Model) theories and methods, this paper researched on the car' s bogie , and for the first time the HMM theories have been used on the car' s bogie faults diagnosis system. The experiment data has been used to deduce and identify the HMM model. It is verified that this method is feasible for bogie faults diagnosis by the experiment results in the C conditions. It is improved that HMM method is available for bogie faults diagnosis and state identification by the experimentation on faults modeling and identification in CCS condition.
