Development of automobile technology more and more embody in the field of the automobile electronic, the traditional technology of automobile electronic is only limited to electro-control some mechnical spare components in the automobile, which is simple comparatively, and the relevant equipment is huger. This technology is backward comparatively. According to the need that the actual application of automobile is changeable, the modern technology of automobile electronic is represented by controlling to the integrated of computer, communication based on network and control which are developed at full speed. The modern technology of automobile electronic has already changed to integrated electronical, intelligent, module of integrated automobile, the bus-based controller network technology is a new development direction of the technology of an automobile electronic.Technology of the Field Bus CAN (Controller Area Network), which appeared in the 80's of the 20th century, has promoted the development of modern technology of automobile electronic greatly. CAN-Bus has gained the advantage that other field buses can't contend on the application of automobile electronic with its peculiar automobile-oriented design philosophy. Now, at least one CAN-Bus system is equipped on almost all the American-European automobiles.This paper analyzed automobile network CAN technology's application and development, which considered that only technology-indraughting is not good for long-term development. And this paper brought forward it is a long program to develop some independent knowledge property right's automobile electronic products based on CAN-Bus after digesting and assimilating CAN-Bus theory quickly. Under current condition, the author has designed and developed the automobile lamp control network system based on CAN-Bus technology. This system established a stable foundation for research CAN-Bus technology.The design blueprint is as follows: designing a central control node and four automobile lamp control node, the linking these five nodes into the CAN-Bus network, now we can form the automobile lamp control network based on CAN-Bus. In the design, the protocol of CAN-Bus network with high performance and low cost is adopted among many main protocols of automotive network standard. Technical regulation of CAN-Bus network is lucubrated and Data Link Layer and Physical Layer in hierarchy structure of CAN-Bus are described. Its basic concept and organizing rules are simply introduced and particularly represents the message, frame format, error style, error-checking ability and some common components.At the beginning, hardware component selection is based on industrialization and paied attention to performance price ratio. It means that the performance meets the control demand and the price cost as lower as possible. Hence, we adopted AT89S51 as the microprocessor, SJA1000 as the CAN controller and PCA82C250 as the CAN-Bus drive. In the design of hardware system, I respectively designed the central node circuit and automobile node circuits. These circuits have universal performance and are adapted to design other systems. In the design of software function, I paid attention to real-time performance and reliability. The program adopted C51 as the software language, which is structured and modularized and has well consistency and transplant capability. On the automobile lamp test-bed, I carded out tests of the automobile lamp network system. The results showed that the system's data transmission is steady, exact and reliable.The automobile lamp control network system based on CAN-Bus is an innovation job for automobile electronic technology area, and the system still has some shorts. So, the author put forward further development aspects and wishes CAN-Bus has the more expansive research world in the automobile electronic area.
