Scope system is a framed structure comprised of precast prestressed concrete components that is fetched in from France by JiangSu Province. This technology fits the request of"Architecture Industrialization". Besides the common advantages of precast structure like the high construction speed, short project time, low pollution, assurance of quality and durability, it also has following outstanding characters like the adoption of first prestressed easily, the reduction in the height of member section, convenient construction of joints and low amount of steel usage. In this paper, three joint members with different length of service hole were chosen to be studied by experiments. After experiments, the finite element analysis on casting member was also done contrasting to the experiment member. Based on these work, mechanism on the beam-column connections, as well as the seismic capacity of structure and some formation problems were further studied. The following were the main contents:1) Three joint members with different length of service hole were chosen to be studied by experiments. After experiments, with phenomenon analyzed and the data dealt with, the estimation was given on the seismic performance of Scope system joint on the basis of the mechanism on the beam-column connections, as well as ductility, hysteresis curves, energy dissipation etc.2) With the help of ANSYS, the contrasting model was created considering the influence of Bond and slip between the bar and concrete. The cracking load, yielding load and displacement etc got from the experiment were contrasted to the experiment members, from which the difference and the causes of the difference were analyzed.3) The theory how forces act on the joint, the kinds of destruction, bar anchor problem of U-shaped bar and the length of hinge were further discussed and analyzed.4) In the end of this paper, some suggestions for design and construction of the joint of Scope system were presented. With the work above, we can draw some conclusions as follows: the design of Scope system joint can be done according to the existing design of concrete structure code. The seismic performance of joints of Scope system can satisfy the demand if they are well designed. With the joint areas of three experiment members were elastic during the experiments, no long cracks appeared in the column or joint area, the main earthquake energy were dissipated by the beam hinge, it made the design goal of strong column and weak beam come true. The service hole length of the members can satisfied the seismic demand.
