Study On Measurement Technology And Methods Of Auto Exhaust Emission

The effective measurement technology and method are important that these can control and evaluate auto emissions, promote the air quality.However, in these aspects our country development are far lost Europe, USA, Japan etc ,and especially in the road emission test.So research these it's good for our country.This paper study on some technology and method about measure emissions.Form lab test to road test.The lab test equipment are about to measure light-duty car, and the engine; the road test equipment including HORIBA OBS-2200 and Sensor's SEMTECH-D/G .Through these researches we find that the road test is important for getting the auto emissions rule, and make some effect method control the emissions.Using the OBS-2200, we do many tests.from these experiences we conclude four applications in our country.In first place: research the relation between engine's load and exhaust emissions in the real road condition; in second place: study on NTE area; in third place: measure advanced and low emission technology's car's emissions and consume; in forth place: through the road rest result we can carry some evalution.Through analysis the tests date, we concluded some viewpoint about on road test:(1) There has much relation between engine's load and exhaust emissions.However the ESC (13) and ETC have a little relation between the real road engine's load distributions, this will reasult to the regulation control effect not good.(2) We test heavy-duty car's exhaust emissions use USA's NTE method, it was not suitble our country from the control area to the limite.(3) With the effect method and PEMS are good for evaluating the HEV car's exhaust and energy consume.(4) With the effecet method the road test equipment is important for getting the in-use car's exhaust rule in the city; it is good for control in-use car's exhaust emissions.
