According to a series of advantages, such as convenient operation, good ductility and excellent property of seismic resistance, Steel-plate Shear Wall(SSW) and Steel-concrete Composite Shear Wall(SCSW) are being paid more and more attention in engineering practice.The mechanical behavior of SSW and SCSW with normal boundary conditions under mono-static load is investigated by finite element software ANSYS in this dissertation. The main contents are listed below:(1) With real models of single span and multichamber, the influence of attended mode of joints on static behavior of the two types of shear wall is studied and simplified model of SSW is built.(2) The influence factors effect on static behavior, such as ratio of height to thickness, ratio of height to length and stiffness of columns are analyzed, the mechanical behavior of SSW is studied.(3) Simplified model of SCSW is built on the ground of simplified model of SSW, the influence factors effect on static behavior, such as precast concrete-plate, ratio of height to thickness and ratio of height to length are analyzed, the mechanical behavior of SCSW is studied.(4) SCSW and stiffened steel-plate shear wall with the same static behavior are designed and conduced in economic comparisons.The research results indicate:(1) The attended mode of joints has little effect on behavior of steel plate.(2) Ratio of height to thickness is a key parameter to static behavior of SSW, the mechanical behavior of SSW changes a lot when ratio of height to thickness varies. When ratio of height to thickness is small, horizontal load is transferred by pure shear of steel plate, and little displacement out of plane occurs; when ratio of height to thickness is big, horizontal load is transferred by tension field of steel plate, and great displacement out of plane occurs.(3) Concrete-plate's thickness is a key parameter to predict the behavior of SCSW, when concrete-plate's thickness is big enough, little displacement out of plane of steel plate occurs, and horizontal load is transferred by pure shear of...
