In this paper, the work on retaining and protecting structure with double-row piles are summarized and the disadvantages are pointed out. On the basis of former achievement, the spatial effect of earth pressure is considered and the deformation compatibility of space that the cap beam applies on the double-row piles support structure is analyzed. Besides, the affection on the earth pressure of both the front and the back row piles due to the sliding plane. Based on the beam on elastic foundation method, a new calculation model on a double-row piles retaining structure is proposed. Comparing the calculation effect of the theoretical model with the actual observation data, it is proved that the effective calculation result can be obtained by reasonable parameters applied in the model.In this paper, FLAC3D is adopted to simulate the excavating process of a deep foundation pit with double-row piles locates in Handan, Hebei province, further more, the laws of displacement field changing with the excavating process are analyzed. In addition, a series of computation models of 9 piles are created, basing on which, the effect of the length and diameter of the piles, the stiffness of the soil mass and the interval distance between the double-row piles on the supporting structure with double-row piles is discussed.A deep pit monitoring information processing system V1.0 is developed by connecting to Access database by C#. At present, the following functions can be realized by the system: the relevant displacement, the inner force of concrete reinforcing bars, the soil pressure, the pore water pressure and the support axle-force can be automatically calculated basing on the basic data and parameters; relevant graphs can be automatically generated; daily reports and summary repots can be automatically built; furthermore, a summary time or serial number can be conveniently selected for the summary report, and the automatically generated data and graphs can be printed, or exported as Excel and Word pattern.
