Pumping station is an important part of the water supplying system in the city, which provides the transformation from electrical energy into mechanical energy. The safety and energy saving of pumping station influences all water supplying system, so it is a necessity for the optimization of it.The purpose for the optimization is to saving the expense while making the pump have the ability of satisfy the quantity and pressure of water comsumption. And the precision prediction of the water comsumption is prior for the optimization.The research of this thesis is based on the forecasting the quantity and pressure, the optimization of pump technology and its operation. Its procedure and conclusions are as follows:Pump station optimization needs the precision prediction for the middle term and long term water comsuption, which also refer to the living water comsuption. The multi-dimensional linear model is widely used by the native and abroad researcher, but this traditional model ignores the connection of water between sequent periods. This thesis combines the idea of sequent time assumption to make a promotion of the conventional multi-dimensional linear, which makes the results more precise.The integer planning idea is the common way used for optimization and easy to understand, however, it is difficult to operate. As to simplify the procedure, this thesis uses the GA method to optimize the pumps and avoids the complicated operation.Though the velocity modulation with the smallest axis efficiency model is an efficient way for the optimization, it is difficult to model and calculate. This thesis use GA to solve the optimization of the separated variable group, and it is feasible.Except the smallest axis efficiency, the wearing out of the frequency changer and electrical machinery ,the time the pump is started and the sample of the pump are also should be considered for the suitable option of the pump. But it is difficult to measure these factors. This thesis uses the layer analytic method to calculate the weight of these factors in the model, and use them to choose one feasible combine plan, so as to supply a benefit way for the combination of the operation of the pump.
