With the development of society, underground building is becoming more and more popular, and it played an important role in our life and manufacture. Compared with overground building, underground building has its own different characteristics. Because the humidity is a big problem in the underground space, this paper aims to solve the humidity problem in underground space through investigating and measuring the ventilation of underground space.In spring and summer, make a measurement of thermal and humid environmental of Jiang Kou water power station of Chong Qing, including the surface temperature of the wall in traffic cavity(685m), air dry bulb temperature and relative humidity of traffic cavity, mainframe cavity and transformer cavity, and the surface temperature of equipment in mainframe cavity and transformer cavity. By measurement, understand the indoor thermal and humid environmental, the degree of humidity, major humid source of underground space in measurement season. Collect original data for analyzing the humidity problem of underground space and solving the humidity problem.During the ventilation in underground space, convection heat transfer and convection mass transfer occur on the surface of the wall. They affect each other, therefore this process belongs to the convection heat and mass coupled transfer. Applying dimension analysis, the affecting factors of convection heat and mass coupled transfer are analyzed, and the no dimension number Nu, Rec, Re, Sc which could be used to describe the coupled process are educed, and there must be f ( Nu ,Re c ,Re, Sc ) = 0. Ventilation in an underground passage has been researched in different weather conditions in different seasons, including spring, summer, autumn and winter. Analyze the experiment data according to no dimension number, and get the empirical formula in power function by multiply linear regression. The fitting result shows that the experiment data of spring, summer and autumn has good linear relation, under 0.99 confidence level. The result is significant. Winter experiment data is under 0.90 confidence level. The result is also significant.During convection heat and mass coupled transfer occurs on surface of wall in different season, the relation between convection heat transfer and convection mass transfer is discussed through analyzing the no dimension empirical formula.
