Along with it is developing rapidly, the image processing technology have been applied to more and more fields. Digital image processing technology is developing towards high processing quality, its algorithms have been optimized, its speed have been higher, and it is ultimate objective to solve practical problems to be applied to other subjects. With the mass transfer process research in chemical engineering gradually deepened and its application field expanded, concentration distribution, diffusion coefficient and mass transfer coefficient have become the extremely important factors as well as the design and development in chemical engineering. Laser holographic interferometry method has some advantage such as non-contact measure, high sensitivity, more information, high precision and so on. Associating with this method, a measure system in mass transfer process is established based on the image processing technology.The main research include as below:1. Establish a measure system in mass transfer process based on the image digital processing, including experimental setting up, debugging and improving the experimental installation. The quality of holographic interferometry image and the precision of measure system were improved.2.After comparing several arithmetics of image preprocessing and fringes thinning, according to the characteristic of holographic interferometry image and the processing effect in practice, finally medium filtering,max variance and barycenter arithmetic are selected as the processing arithmetic of this system, as a result, the precision of measure system were improved.3.Design and compile that the software for the measure system in mass transfer process. By means of this software the analysing and processing to holographic interferometry image can be accomplished, and several experiment data can be calculated, the display and storage of data can also be achieved.
