Heart is the most important organ of human and its state is crucial to everyone's health. Electrocardiograph is an important diagnostic tool for cardiac physicians to diagnose the heart. In this paper, a design of micro 12-lead electrocardiograph is proposed, which is portable and powerful. The design is based on the knowledge of electrical engineering such as signal processing, microprocessor interface, circuit design, etc.ADuC7026 is used as the core of the micro 12-lead electrocardiograph. The chip is a fully integrated 12-bit data acquisition system-on-a-chip, featuring an ARM7TDMI MCU core and 12-bit 1MSPS ADC. Like all of ADI's MicroConverter products, it features precision A/D & D/A conversion and a Flash microcontroller on a single chip.The micro 12-lead electrocardiograph introduces new bioelectricity preamplifier circuit and has 240×160 small lattice LCD, which provide GUI and ECG wave display. System adopts SRAM & Nand Flash dual memory architecture for real time processing & storage demand.The micro 12-lead electrocardiograph has windows PC assistant software, which can provide more clear ECG wave display, record patient's case, analysis ECG data and transfer ECG data by Ethernet. The PC software is easy for use and enhances the micro 12-lead electrocardiograph function greatly.In one word, the micro 12-lead electrocardiograph presented in the paper has low power dissipation, and it is powerful, portable, and convenient for use.
