In the recent years, with the rapid progress of power electronics, DC power supply has been applied to the fields of computer, communication, electrical systems, aeronautics and so on. Due to the miniaturization, high frequency and high efficiency requirements of electronic equipment, soft-switching technique has become the hottest research direction of power electronics, and also has been widely applied. Because of the strong non-linearity of the systems themselves and the addition of the resonant components, the modeling of these systems become more difficult ,and the traditional control methods would not fulfill the requirement of the system. With the development of the artificial intelligence theory, more and more people begin to focus on the neural network and especially its capacity of drawing up any non-liner system. These have made it become the fashionable project of the control theory. In this paper ,I will combine the neural network with the traditional PID control law and then design a PID-NN controller that will be put in the soft switch power converter system to control the output voltage.The main content of paper is as below:(1) In this paper, it summarizes the development of DC-DC converter firstly,and then analysis of their advantage and disadvantage of these controlled methods.(2) Introduce the character of the traditional and the adaptive PID controller in brief along with the neural network that is used in the controlled system.(3) Choosing the ZCS QRC BUCK as the example, it labors the working principle of DC-DC converter. And it builds the average circuit model by using the method of high frequency network averaging. And the state equation and the small signal model are both built on the base of that model.(4) According to the PID-NN theory, it designs a novel PID-NN controller that is based on the BP neural network.
