Reactive power optimization is one of the most important control methods to ensure power system operation securely and economically, and an effective measure to improve the voltage profile and reduce the loss.Comparing with the traditional capacitor,SVC is more convenient, dynamic compensation and effect markedly. ,which will be the most important reactive power compensation equipment in the future..This study will optimize the best scheme site for SVC and search for the idea of controlling the harmonic pollution and of reducing the loss through dynamic simulation.On the basis of model of the reactive power optimization on SVC, this artical analyze and study the difficulty of it.Due to the high price of SVC,we cannot collocate SVC everywhere needed,so I adopt MODEL ANALYSE Method to affirm the best compensate site. In alllution to the characteristic of the dynamic compensate I adopt Modified Partical Swarm Way,which is account rapidly and convergence wonderful. In order to controlling the harmonic pollution and reducing the loss of system at the same time,I adopt the sum of loss and harmonics aberrance as the benefit of optimization.The result of the simulation about 30 nodes system and 57 nodes system indicate the idea is effective and feasible.
