Design And Implementation Of A Web-GIS System For Urban Traffic Deploy And Guidance Based On J2EE

With the development of ITS technology, Traffic Information Service System plays a more important role in implementing dynamic traffic guidance and reducing traffic press, which is the key part of ITS. So, the application research of WebGIS on ITS, which relies on WWW technology, adds real-time GPS floating car data to graphic GIS, have been conducted. More emphasis is being put on the Traffic Information Service System based on WebGIS, due to its advantages such as information visibility, widely interoperability, ease to maintain.On the basis of summarizing the evolvement of WebGIS network architecture, In this thesis, by adopting GPS FCD as data source, some issues such as map matching methods based on road affiliated properties, traffic guidance algorithm based on optimal route and fuzzy query based on SQL procedures are studied and implemented. Considering the actual demands of Beijing traffic information system, web application of multi-layer MVC structure based on J2EE is adopted. The powerful tool of MapXTreme Java is selected as a map management server. Spring, Struts and Hibernate technologies are employed to build a B/S structural system based on SQL Server 2000 rational database and JBoss Web Containter. A thin Client/Server style WebGIS system is implemented to be applicable to urban traffic information distribution and guidance.By managing urban traffic information resource, the system can provide ease-to-use and quick query approaches to obtain urban traffic guidance information. It can also provide travlers and relevant government departments a series of methods for data analysis and visual traffic information service. The system platform realized in this thesis is definitely worthy both from the theoretical and practical application views.
