Research On The Identification Method Of Urban Road Traffic Conditions

With the fast development of the society economy, the road vehicles increases continuously, the need of road transportation increases quickly, the situation of road is becoming more and more serious. The increasing malignant traffic accident and traffic congest not only threaten the safety of people's life and property seriously, but also bright the serious influence to the movement efficiency of the road transportation. All of countries, especially the advanced countries, started studying to make use of an advanced technique to supervise the road traffic conditions, and appeared traffic supervision and control system taking electronics equipments as means, for the sake of safety and movement efficiency of exaltation road transportation.There need to be the suitable identification method of road traffic conditions in order to make good use of these advanced transportation examination means to contribute efforts to the city transportation. Therefore, this paper analyzes the situation on relative subject at home and abroad, definitudes the design principle and built three layers target system of road traffic conditions from road network layer, traffic parameter layer and the crossing and section layer by the analysis of the traffic flow index, road traffic conditions and target system of road traffic conditions. On the research basis of the identification method of road traffic conditions, the paper presents many kinds of algorithm, such as McMaster algorithm, improved DS-ANN algorithm and so on, and analyzes the advantages and shortages of them. Finally, aimed at the shortage of the identification method of road traffic conditions formerly, it takes advantage of the thought of system engineering, builds up the identification model of road network traffic conditions based on the method of Architecture Analysis, and applies the identification model to analyze the cases.The research result of this paper can help the traffic governor to know the variable information of the road network transportation in real time, to take measures to appease transportation and decrease congestion in time, which exalt traffic safety guarantee and the limited time and space network resources efficiency.
