Research On Calculation Method For Temperature Field Of Frozen Soil Considering Irregular Layout Of Freezing Pipes

At the present time, the ground freezing technique has become a mature construction method. Research on the technique of the Artificially Ground Freezing is continuing.The temperature field of freezing soil is an important aspect. Lots of work is spent by the scientists from many countries, and they has got much achievement. Many kinds of analytic solutions supply good supervision for freezing engineering with regular layout of freezing pipes.No universal analytic solutions can solve the temperature field with irregular layout of freezing pipes. It needs numerical method. This article adopts finite difference method. Considering phase change, coefficient of heat, latent heat and other factors, the whole frozen zone is divided by heat reservoir zone, frozen zone, phase change zone and unfrozen zone, then the different equations are deduced in response to characteristics of these zones. A program, named COTF, for freezing soil temperature field calculation is developed on MATLAB. COTF supplies a convenient visual interface using GUIDE, which displays calculated results in three-dimensional and dynamic way.
