Based on the research of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) performance from single source, this article embarks from the experimental observation that the variance of RAC is a little greater than that of NAC, while the anti-earthquake performance of RAC frame is close to that of NAC frame, and according to the prevailing concrete structure design standards and reliability analysis theories, some work has been done and listed below:(1) By means of striped method and formulas from design standards, the difference of reliability index of flexural capacity between RAC beams and NAC beams due to the augment of variance are investigated. What's more, the influence of the corelationship between cross-section dimensions is also taken into consideration. Then, some revision is worked out according to these results.(2) Also with the application of formulas from design standards, the deviation of reliability index of axial compression and eccentric compression capacity between RAC columns and NAC columns are investigated. Further more, the influence of the corelationship of cross-section dimension is also covered. Then, some revision is conducted according to these results.(3) With the application of plastic-hinge-emergence structural reliability analysis method, former analysis is integrated, the stochastic parameters is calculated and tested, the difference of reliability between typical RAC frames capacity and that of NAC frames under the combined effect of vertical load and horizontal load is investigated through calculations of examples. This' study may serve as useful background to further research on the possibilities of recycling of waste concrete in practice.
