The flow field in the Turbomachinery is three dimensional and extremely complicated. It has been found that wake loss of the blade has a great impact on the performance and stability of Turbomachinery, and also has been recognized as one of main noise sources of Turbomachinery. The efficiency of the Turbomachinery could be obviously increased and the noise could be decreased by controlling the wake flow. The main object of this thesis is to investigate the effect of trailing edge blowing on the flow of the wake region. The understanding of the detailed flow pattern in the wake region is useful to improve the design of Turbomachinery.Experimental investigation and numerical simulation are basic methods to study the flow field of Turbomachinery.
