The high vibration noise around the flank array of underwater vehicle affects greatly its homing system processing target signal and the range of homing system.Adaptive noise cancellation can restrain or attenuate the noise effectively and impove the SNR of receiving signal.This technique is used in this paper to cancel vibration noise for flank array of underwater vehicle.Aims at attenuating the vibration noise for flank array of underwater vehicle effectively, we researched the character of the vibration noise for flank array and the adaptive cancellation techniques of noise with monophonic and broad band signal.The main contributions are as follow.Analyzed the character of flank vibration array noise and established the radiated noise model based on lake experiment data of flank array noise. By the analysis of the vibration noise of flank array, we conclude the character of the spectrum of the vibration noise in different position and direction,the relation between the spectrum of the vibration noise and the speed of underwater vehicle and the relation between self-noise and vibration noise. Basing on the real measured data, we reconstructed the radiated noise of underwater vehicle.These conclusions are very helpful for de-noising ,reducing shock and the design of flank array homing system.The LMS algorithm adaptive filter is chosen for cacelling the vibration noise of flank array for convenience in practical implementation.The paper studied the fundamental principes of LMS variable stepsize LMS NLMS algorithm and the performace of the filter based on these algorithms.The maladjustment and convergence of these algorithms are also studied in considerable details.Based on experiment data of flank array vibration noise, we researched the adaptive noise cancellation with monophonic and broad band signal by LMS algorithm and NLS algorithm.Effects of weight number step size bandwidth of signal and noise are examined in the application of LMS and NLMS algorithm to adaptive cancellation of vibration noise.
