Meanwhile, due to the lack of package standard, cushion design is highly dependent on designer's experience. These are all difficulties facing the designing.Therefore, this software, which uses Visual C++ as developing environment, has the advantage of liberating designers from miscellaneous work, of shortening the time of research and development, and of avoiding the devastating tests. When the size of product shape, product frangibility, performance parameters of cushion package, transport conditions of packages, distribute conditions and package parameters are known, the program can, by calculating, get the most economic material, the size, the shape and the structure of the cushion and design the structure of the corrugated carton based on the data obtained. There is tremendous economic benefit for sophisticated electronic products.
