According to thermodynamic basic theory, the expression of the gas turbine circulation thermal efficiency to coupling parameter on the premise of considering actual influence factor and the matrix form of steam turbine thermal efficiency with the unfired HRSG is strictly deduced through mathematics method .Finally, expression of gas-steam combined cycle thermal efficiency to coupling parameter is gained. On the base of that and according to the way of optimizing first and selecting type later, step of optimized type-selection to gas-steam combined cycle is introduced combined example. All of that could resolve the problem that the efficiency can not reach maximum what with the way of selecting type first and optimizing later. And theoretical foundation is offered with that gas turbine producer could design super gas turbine to improve efficiency in gas-steam combined cycle.
