This paper describes a three-dimension simulation model for the absorber of absorption refrigeration system, in which the absorber is one of the most important parts. The efficiency of absorber decides the result of the whole system. It can be developed just when deeply known the working situation in detail. Very complex phenomenon as heat and mass transfer are included in the absorber. For a long time, it was hard to describe the process exactly, as two phase (vapor-fluid) and three fluid matter (water/ solution/vapor) existence at the same time.The development of computer and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) offered a new way for numerical simulation. Some CFD software are good at dealing with heat and mass transfer. It is possible to model complex phenomenon like convection, heat transfer, proliferation and so on. The general model and mixture model in Fluent can be used to model the working process in absorber. After introduction of the physical model, experiment and the referred models, the simulate results are showed, composed by the comparison of some change, like temperature and quantity of solution and cooling water.It is showed that the general model and mixture model do well with simulating temperature and velocity, the former can get a higher accuracy, and the latter can change more as user's wish to describe two phase fluid. All of them have to be developed.
