The political factor is one of the very important factors which influence the construction of the city. The course of construction of most of the cities has been influenced by the political factor, more or less. Berlin is a city, which has grown up with the happening of many great political events. Especially since the 20th century, the queasy political fortune of the city has greatly impacted the construction of the city and radically changed the track of development of the city. For Berlin, this is a history of urban construction blending with the politics. This article begins with the introduction of the historical and political background of Berlin City. Through the management of the whole construction history, especially of that after the second world war of the Berlin City, the article tries to discuss how the political factor influences the urban construction.The article comprises four chapters. The first chapter focuses on the management of Berlin's construction history trace. It's the base of the analyses and discuss in the paper. The second and the third emphasize the analyses of the phase of Berlin's construction after the war, based on two clues: the political and historic clue. This part is the base for the conclusion of the forth chapter. The forth chapter is the conclusion. In this part, the article analyzes and sums up again the content of the second chapter. And then it discusses the effect which the political factor gives the urban construction. The article finds a clue of four elements: the political factor--the political event--the constructive event--the urban construction. And it analyzes the relationship among these four elements then obtains the conclusion.The thesis comprises 46500 Chinese words, 181 illustrations...
