Research Of Layout Pattern Of Metropolitan Urban Green Space System

The metropolis is the human resident area of high density, where the contradiction between the activity of human being and the ecological environment is very serious. In recent years, the development is so fast that cities are not in order and out of control. The spatial distribution structure is more and more disorderly. But the society and economy are being developed. In the same time the degree of the human matter and culture and ethics is being improved. Under the influence the demand of the environmental quality is more and more high. People attach importance to the city landscape and the urban environment problem gradually, so we should research the scientific and rational layout pattern of urban green space system, which is becoming an important part of city construction and sustainable development strategy. As a typical metropolis, Shanghai also has the contradiction between human living environment and city developing. As the 2010 EXPO drawing near, the city needs a more harmony layout pattern of urban green space system, to guide the construction of green space, and make the layout of urban green space more rational.Urban green space system is a steady and sustained green environment system, consisted of diversified green space which has different style, different property and scale. The layout pattern of urban green space system is influenced by a great deal of factors, and a steady and rational urban green space system layout can guide the urban green space or even urban structure to meliorate.Firstly, the paper analyzed the layout patterns of urban green space system of several metropolises, made a comparison of them, and depicted the developing trend of layout pattern of urban green space system. After that the paper compared two kinds of layout pattern, one involved in the urban green space system planning of Shanghai, accomplished in 1994, and the other 2002, analyzed the problems of current green space and its layout, and summed up the warrants for appropriate urban green space system layout of Shanghai in three levels, nature condition, city structure developing, and the region of Yangtse Rive delta. This is a necessary and steadygroundwork of further research.In the essential part of this paper, the author present three kinds of layout patterns of urban green space system of Shanghai, based on the choosing principles, and further present the notion of establishing the urban ecological green space network. The paper also studied the strategy of urban green space layout of each foundation area in Shanghai, gave suggestions, and used several instances to explain the idea.
