Deep excavation and excavation bracing is a traditional topic in rock and soil engineering, but with modern characteristics, With the emergence of more and more skyscrapers, it becomes more and more important to study the technology of deep excavation and excavation bracing. Many overseas specialists have conducted series of research in the field including theoretical calculations, design methodology, field trip and indoor model test and achieved a lot fruitful results. However, much more work is expected to do in this field due to the complex and uncertainty. Especially, the information on the composite soil nailing supported by micro-steel piles advancely is very little , it is worth further study. In China , the recorded information On the model test of the composite soil nailing supported by micro-steel piles advancely is very litter.Based on the research on deep excavation and excavation bracing home and abroad , in this article, aggregated the research status on the composite soil nailing supported by micro-steel piles advancely; designed and produced a model test device; in the excavation process ,steel piles moment, soil nail pulling, soil pressure and the pile top changes were simulated, And its laws were analyzed and summarized , Finally, the mechanism on the composite soil nailing supported by micro-steel piles advancely were discussed.The main work and achievements :1. A wall model test device was studied and designed .Including: the design and fabrication of model box,the design and manufacture of the supporting structure,material selection,the test system design and manufacture.2. A series of the test data on the composite soil nailing supported by micro-steel piles advancely was gived, and, analyzed and collated.3. The laws on the moment of the steel piles, the soil nail pulling, the soil pressure and the changes were summed up.4. Some views and recommendations, on the mechanism of the composite soil nailing supported by micro-steel piles, were put forward.
