The treatment of HLLW(High level liquid waste)has become a key problem, which restricts the use of nuclear energy. Several kinds of processes for the treatment of HLLW have been put forward in all over the world. Chinese TRPO process has passed the laboratory hot test and the satisfied result was gotten, it is authorized one of the most prospective processes. The TRPO process need improve for more practical application. This thesis was focused on finding the better TRPO product (Trialkyl Phosphine-Oxide), by means of the synthesis of TRPO and the analysis of TRPO products'physical parameters and extraction performance.In this thesis, the method of hydrolysis of iodine-phosphorus alkyl complex compound was used to synthesize 16 kinds of product, and the different composition of TRPO was also characterized by means of IR and GC. Several physical performance parameters of 16 synthesized products and 3 industrial products was also test, including freezing point, density, water solubility, viscidity etc. The extraction distribute behavior of several kinds of metal, such as La,Ce,Pr,Nd,Sm,Fe,Zr and U,and the load of capacity (LOC) of Zr and U has been principally researched.The results showed that this synthesized method was simply and credibly applied, and the predicted products can be gotten by controlling the material ratios. D,I,J and K group in these synthesized products performed well in a majority of physical parameters and extraction behavior and capacity, under all acidity set in this experiment. These four kinds of products performed better than the industrial products, in extraction performance, conditions of forming hird phase and LOC of Zr and U.
