| The research of trample power sensor about bicycle is based on the machinery and electrical engineering integration technology, computer control technology and finite element analysis. We can analyze the maximum strain of pedal by finite element theory and then determine the best location by considering the strain and stress concentration.This system could simulate the foot pedal deformation under foot force by use of finite element analysis software ANSYS. The software simulation process provides a favorable argument for the actual experiment feasibility. In addition, the system can test the bicycle athlete's parameter about foot force on time, and put the parameter into the database. It can also draw the characteristic curve of the foot pedal according the data in the database. This is realized by programming with Borland C++ Builder 6.0.As the bicycle sport is universal today, preceding this system can not only increase the tournament level of the bicycle athlete, but also make use of computer to measure all kinds of athletics exercise parameter prevail.There are many factors that determine the speed of the bicycle athlete. We can find the problems existing in the training by testing the trample pressure, trample frequency and heart rate of the bicycle athlete. The athlete can solve the problems and improve their performance by it. The research work presented in this paper designs hardware, software, and methods of processing data. (1) The general design of pressure sensor The general thinking of the system of foot power sensor about bicycle athlete is to design the basic structure of a bicycle pedal board and then to simulate the foot pedal deformation under foot force by use of finite element analysis software ANSYS. The software simulation process provides a favorable argument for the actual experiment feasibility. A testing system is consisting of sensor, signal process part and display part. It is needed to install a sensor that output signal is digital data in order to omit to use A/D convector. This testing system collects a parameter of pressure sensor. After the parameters are collected, the data is sent to the computer. The computer will store and process the data.(2)ANSYS theory and trample pressure sensor studyANSYS software was designed by the ANSYS company which is located in United States. It is large-scale finite element analysis software which is developed by the collection of structure, thermal, fluid, electromagnetic and acoustic characteristics. It can be widely used in the nuclear industry, railways, petrochemical, aerospace, machinery manufacturing, energy, electronics, shipbuilding, automobile transportation, the defense industry, civil engineering, biomedical, light industry, mining, water, daily home appliances and other general industrial and scientific research. The finite element calculation in this paper is used to build the model by CAD software and transmit this model into ANSYS in IGES format. This approach has been adopted mainly due to the ANSYS modeling functions rather weak. Specific regard to the IGES interface graphics into complex process, there may be some data loss, so on the hybrid software modeling, design model only in the framework plan, adopted in IGES format. The next step is to build up solid model indirect (Solid Modeling) in ANSYS, and there is no basic data loss. Framework figure is repaired and to be defined module types and material properties; Plotting this model out, loading solution, and then finite element simulation results eventually right foot and the foot plate sensor theoretical analysis and verification. After analyzing the finite element simulation results, a trample plate beam bending stress and displacement contour figure. We can analyze the possible location of the largest contingency from the icons by considering the greatest strain and stress concentration, and then determine the best location of strain gage.(3) Measure the trample pressure of the athleteThe testing system measure the athlete's trample pressure through pressure sensor. Because the signal output by the sensor is so weak that the computer can't detect it. So we designed a circuit to amplify the signal.(4) Programming the softwareThe software is written with Borland C++ Builder 6.0. The software can store the data sent by the data-collecting system, and it can draw the dynamic characteristic curve of the bicycle athlete. The curves provide the coaches and athlete with reference. After debugging and operating testing system for dynamic parameter of bicycle athlete, we analyze the error of the experimental result and prove that the trample power is in the range of permission. The design of the whole system is reasonable and successive. The system provided an effective tool to research the metabolism of bicycle athletes, exercise the tired extreme limit, how to make an effort to attain the efficiency tallest, attain the power's reasonable exploitation, attain most ideal sport speed then to obtain excellent score, it will have the good leading meaning.In the final, the designed trample sensor will be calibrated, and try to reduce errors. |
