Research Of The Continue And Development On The Traditional Cultural Practices Of The Pingyao Ancient City Protection Plan

As the development of the society and culture, traditional culture heritage has become one of the most important human fortunes. But nowadays it has been disregarded by the rapid growth of the economic and the cities. So how to protect the disappearing ancient city, to continue the ancient culture, and to keep the vitality of the cites, is the main problem we must face today.Based on the reflect of the ancient city protection, this thesis chooses Pingyao city as the subject of the research, and analysis the theory of culture heritage, Sustainability, and Culture. Then through the analysis the context, development, and ancient culture, the author tried to find out the way to preserve the vitality of the ancient city.Through the study of the theory and mood of the Lijiang city, the author got several new conclusions on the way to the culture protection of the Pingyao city. Such as historic, urban designing, and folklore, ectAnd in the end, the author based on the research of the overall development plan, the layout of the space, the continuing of the old culture, and the future culture development, to find a new way to preserve vitality of the ancient city.
