The Research On The Whole Process Management Of Engineering Cost In Construction Project

In the recent 20 years , The modern construction management theory and method have had the quickest development and progresses in the management study domain, and the construction cost management theory and method also have been the quickest developed and changed discipline in the construction management discipline since the 1990s. Since the 1980s, in the domain of construction management and construction costmanagement ,the theory and method of the Whole Process Cost Management-WPCM .which is proposedby the China construction cost management educational world ,the Life Cycle Cost Management-LCCM,proposed by the English & America construction cost project and the construction cost management ,thethought and the method of the Total Cost Management-TCM, by the American construction costmanagement, have successively appeared. The appearance of these theories and methods changed the construction cost management principle and method in the very great degree. This paper main contents and achievements are as that:(1) As to the Total Cost Management, neither its methodology nor its technical method have formed completely, therefore it is not extremely suitable, what are more is one kind of guiding ideology and idea. This paper elaborated our country construction cost management model which will also certainly transform from the construction cost management model based on the fixed quantity to the Whole Process Cost Management model, then transforms to the more advanced model of the Total Cost Management, the two unifies and constitute the technical method of the Whole Process Cost Management.(2) The technical method of the WPCM includes two concrete technical methods, one is based on the active construction Whole Process Cost definite technology method, another technical method is obtained from the cost origin of the whole-process-cost control work package and activities in construction project, taking cost determination on the work package and activities in construction project as a core, determines the whole process cost of construction project based on the actual situation. Differing from the traditional cost determination method of construction project which is based on the fixed quantity and the department-share, this is one more reasonable technical method of cost determination of construction project.
