Slope roof, a division of roof construction, recently becomes popular as it's being used on an increasing number of residential buildings across the country. Actually, the application of slope roof would largely be affected by the diverse climates in hot summer and cold winter area. Therefore, it is proper and fitting for us to carry out researches on enclosure structure.The article, based a current study on heat proofing, structural design, neo-technology and ecological concept being applied at different regions, discusses how these aspects help realize the heat proofing and energy saving purposes on buildings in hot summer and cold winter area. Out of the perspective of architectural technology, the article will feature six parts.Firstly, it gives an introduction on the concept and background of slope roof. And, it analyses the significance of researching on slope roof, and gives an outline on the academic study.The second part explains related theories, effective measures used for energy saving in the slope roof construction.The third and fourth parts elaborate on the heat proofing and energy saving measures with graphic illustrations.The fifth part introduces new trends in the construction of slope roofs, which tends to be consuming less energy and environmentally friendly.Finally, it summarizes that slope roof building in hot summer and cold winter area should cater to local weather and environment. It's recommended to use neo-technology and environmentally friendly technology.
