Knowing temperature field distributing with inner,exterior hot source and energy transferring for temperature field changing is a problem which is cared about in daily life and engineering. For requirement of building's heat insulation is more and more exigent, it is stringent to measure heat preservation performance on line in course of bricks building's appraisal. Using engineering computing software MATLAB to numerical simulate temperature field with exterior hot source has great directive significance to material thermal conductivity measurement.In the paper, principle, technique and status quo of thermal conductivity measurement are recounted, various methods of solving heat conduction problem are summarized, study significance, study content and adopted technical course are indicated.This thesis applies basic heat transfer theory and numerical solving tool MATLAB to analyze temperature field with dot, wire hot source, and combines simulation results to discuss the two measure methods: with dot hot source on line measurement of thermal conductivity on flat wall and hot wire measurement of thermal conductivity of solid material.According to math model of flat wall heat conduction with dot hot source, using order function which come from partial differential equation tool box in engineering software MATLAB to program, numerical calculation on flat wall temperature field with dot hot source have been accomplished. The influence factors of simulation results are given, such as: heat up power of dot hot source, diameter of hot source, condition of convection heat transfer, material of flat wall, geometry conditions of flat wall, and how those factors influence the results are analyzed.By the simulation results of temperature field with dot hot source, it's proved that using dot hot source technique to measure flat wall's thermal conductivity on line is feasible in theory. It's hopeful to solve the problem which flat wall's thermal conductivity only be measured in lab.
