With the widely use of the steel structure in the industry and civil construction, as a kind of important connection, High Strength Bolt connection also get to spread and application. Under some special circumstance steel didn't resist against high temperature, such as when steel structure suffered fire or those steel members under high temperature for long time, which resisting force, can be weaken. But people can not understand clearly the degressive degree of bearing capacity in steel structure joint under high temperature and the percentage of all structure. There are not many related research in domestic and foreign country. So the effect is not considered in the steel structure design code in China.This paper introduces the steel structure development, fire harm, resisting fire research and fire security evaluation before emphasis the experimental investigation and theoretical study of High-strength bolt connection under high temperature. Then puts sheared and tensed high strength bolt connection as objects, using ABAQUS soft, sets up finite element models, which can simulate loading process under high temperature and fired. At last, through analysis and calculate the ultimate bearing capacity of High strength bolt connection and compare with various model results which have existed. Limit capacities of high-strength bolt connection are gained at different temperatures and the validity of the finite element model is verified by good agreement between the analytical and test results. And simulation formula of limit capacities is presented according to numerical calculation data that can provide some references for design against fire of high-strength bolt connection.In addition, pre-tension and slipping load of high-strength bolt connection is summarized by calculation results completely in this paper, the relationship between losing factor of pre-tension force and temperature is gained and conclusion is drawn that the main reason why slip load of high-strength bolt connection against shear reduces results from losing of friction factor and pre-tension force at high temperatures.The research work in this paper possesses certain practical value. The analysis results could provide references and basis for congener research.
