The study of soil and water loss has got prominent achievements at home and abroad, which focus on gully area of Loess Plateau at all times. But the study of water erosion during the railway construction is not used broad, especially the research of slope engineering which is not seen.Based on the basic character of soil erosion in loess plateau and railway engineering, local investigation of water erosion is carried out in cutting slope and construction pavement in Shitai Railway, and field experiment is made in embankment slope in Xian Waihuan Railway, and observation of rainfall is put up in Hezhuang waste field in Beitongpu Railway. And then, the law of water erosion intensity of railway slopes in loess plateau is researched,and soil erosion modulus of railway slopes such as cutting slope, embankment slope and waste field slope is definited. Based on stimulative action which is brought by railway project, the region distributing character of water erosion intensity in loess plateau is studied.
