With the rapid development of modern engineering and technology, especially in the area of aviation, space flight,manufacture and national defense. It's cry for the accurate measurement of high-speed movement. This paper focuses on the technology of the detection of high-speed movement in ultra short time of explosive impact. The Laser Doppler method has many advantages such as high accuracy, rapid dynamic response, large measuring range, non-contact, resisting electron-magnetic interference, avoiding landscape orientation interference. So, this paper mainly study the Doppler technology using in the detection of the velocity and parameter of distortion.Based on the applied domain of the project, the measurement of signal with velocity range from -10m/s to 20m/s has been studied.The following results are achieved:1. Theory of the measurement of vibration using Laser Doppler effect are researched and Laser Doppler optical system are designed. Especially, the acoustic-optic modulator technologies are used to improve the signals'SNR,distinguish the direction, and improve the anti-jamming ability of the optical system. According to speckle principle and Gauss theory, relation between intensities of laser Doppler signals and structure parameters of optical system is analyzed to optimize the system.2. Designing the instrument mechanical configuration, completing the instrument, and improve the instrument. This instrument is easy to adjust and stable to bear the long-distance transmit. The instrument can be use in the fieldwork.3. Study the relation of the signal and the target characteristic, and study the use of the glassbead, scotch-lith and glassbead lacquer and the other way to improve the signal.3. The self-mixing effect of laser diode including the self-mixing model, the problem of feedback coefficient, measure principle was studied. The characteristic of the VCSELs seismic acquisition system was studied by experiments.4. Using Labview program to acquire data, and then use SFFT to analyze the data.
