The building energy-conservation technology is becoming a hot research point because of energy shortage. Louver shading and natural ventilation technology are two of the effective solutions because of their prominent advatanges that are building energy consumption decreasment and indoor air quality improvement.This paper takes these two technology as the research object. The main job and important results are listed as follows:1. The application and research of louver shading and natural ventilation system are annlyzed and summarized.2. A proper building model is selected and the the wind velocity and pressure distribution around the model is simulated. Results show that louvres accelerate the wind velocity around the builing.3. A new formula for evaluating the indoor comfortability controlled by natural ventilation is suggested based on the exsiting ones. The new formula takes more parameters into consideration besides outside air temperature, such as wind velocity, relative humidity, mean radiant temperature, metabolic rate and clothing insulation. Field measured data shows that the new one is better.4. Based on the above work, the indoor environment of natural ventilation with louvre shading is simulated. Caculation results validate that louvre shading devices not only decrease the solar heat gains but also improve the indoor air quality.5. Some parameters of louvre shading devices are changed to research their effects on building natural ventilation.
