Combine shield method with other construction method (for some mature methods: open cut method, cover cut method, shallow undercutting method et al) to construct subway station, that's a new method in city subway construction in recent times and has been a tendency. So study how to combine shield method with shallow undercutting method in subway station construction, which's greatly important for improving the general technology level in the field of tunnel and underground engineering.On a base of the conclusion of experiments, the whole process of subway station construction by combining shield method with shallow undercutting method was simulated by FLAC3d program. And then, the model was made in detail by using interface sell between shield segments to simulate it. There're two projects to choose: one is using steel bracing between segment and push drive cast-place-pile from the both sides; the other is that don't use any steel bracing or pile. To compare the two projects, the ground settlement, the structure deformation, the variation of inner force, and the stress variation of the interface between shield segments by combining shield method with shallow undercutting method were educed. In the end, the rationality of the two projects was determined by analyzing the conclusion.
