Distributed generation (DG) is becoming a new research area worldwide. Lots of research works mainly focus on DG effects on power systems. The development of DG has a great influence on the traditional power systems and brings electrical technology notable advancement. In order to utilize disperse energy resources and improve utility system reliability, DGs are applied in power systems more and more widely. But the increasing number of DG brings about many technical problems.Nowadays, DG consists of main four types: wind generation, fuel cell generation, photovoltaic generation and micro turbine generation. Since different DGs have different characteristics, it is quite necessary to construct their stable models for stable analysis of power systems. DGs have to be incorporated to system through definite equipments, primary of whom are asynchronous generator, synchronous generator and power electronic facilities. Therefore, two aspects are both taken into consideration in this thesis.Positioning of DGs and deciding of DGs'capacities are monumental problems for DG planning. It is known that DGs'positions and capacities...
