Along with the development of technology, the quality requirement of power supply of electronic and electrical equipments becomes higher and higher. It developed from the original whole power supply module to every layer, every flash board, and now the best quantity of POL power supply. In POL power supply system, 48V DC bus converter is becoming the mainstream. The efficiency of power supply now has been high, so, to higher the efficiency more, more advanced circuit topology must be applied and better components be used.Developing course and basic configuration are first introduced; ingredients that affect the efficiency of SMPS are analyzed. Major problems that need to be solved in high efficiency power convert are put forward, include loss of switch, loss while switching on, stray loss and etc. Reasons that produce the loss are analyzed. High efficiency power convert idea is put forward; a kind of effective method heighten the efficiency of SMPS-ZVS is particularly analyzed. Natural ZVS high efficiency power convert circuit project is proposed.Problems need to be paid attention to while designing high efficiency power converter are discussed, high efficiency 48V DC bus converter is designed. Advantages and disadvantages are particularly introduced; process of work and advantages of unit circuit are analyzed. Experiments are done, results are analyzed.
