In this paper, the application of the multilevel invertor and the development present condition of multilevel invertor circuit and control strategy is introduced firstly. Through analysis to multilevel invertor a method of switching angle control for Diode-clamping Multilevel Inverter is introduced. The quantity of wave for output voltage is improved and the content of harmonics is reduced. And a design is carried on to realize the control mode based on TMS320F2407DSP.Firstly the principle of the electric circuit for Diode-clamping Multi-level Inverter is analyzed. Then a method of switching angle control is carried out, and a reasonable switch combination is choosen by comparison. Each switch breakes through once in a period, and the frequency of switch is low, the exhausts of switch is small. This control-method can satisfy a demand of higher work frequency. Through analysis and calculation in theory, the certain switch lead time is determined. Low wave harmonics is eliminated and the value of the output voltage is adjustable.On the basis of this, the method is carried based on TMS320F2407DSP, and experiment electric circuit is build up. Assembly language is adopted to improve the performance speed of program, and the calculation for angles is completed in a period. Finally the system is debugged, and the result of experiment is analyzed.
