| The very high voltage between the contacts of high-voltage switch or between high-voltage buses makes the direct measurement of its temperature a very difficult problem which has not been solved in practice so far. Based on the fact of electric power system, this paper introduces a new simple method: displace-intensity modulated fiber-optic temperature sensor. Its feasibility is proved via experiments. The sensor is an insulator itself and is small, so it has the advantages of low-price, simple-structure, and without electromagnetic interference. At the beginning, the dissertation analyzes the background about the research of the problem, and gives a project to solve it.The principle and performance of the fiber, lamp-house, photoelectric detector is discussed in detailsin chapter 2. And the principle of the intensity modulated fiber-optic sensor is given. They are important parts of the fiber–optic sensor, and affect the stability and precision of the system. In chapter 3, the paper brings forward an idiographic project through analysis, compare, and combined with practice. At the same time, the knowledge about double optical path compensation is discussed too.In chapter 4, the paper mainly introduces the realizations of the system, included the principle and performance of the parts which needed, and software flow chart. In chapter 5, the dissertation validates academic validity and project feasibility through experiments. Finally, the paper gives summarization and expectation. |
