Energy problem is one of the hottest issues in the nowadays world. The efficient use of energy has been regarded as a solution to energy shortage and a series of relevant problems arose from energy shortage, which had been paid most attention in most countries.Exergy analysis was applied in the energy loss analysis of refrigeration storage refrigeration system—one of the bigger energy consumers. This method aimed at finding weak links in the system and improving them, thereby, to increase the low utilization ratio of energy and improve the economic benefits of refrigeration storage in our country.This paper based on a model of refrigeration storage refrigeration system in Nanjing meat plant. Introduced the present condition of all equipments. Analyzed and optimized the system with the method of Exergy analysis. Summarized the present developing condition of domestic and abroad refrigeration storage industry. Some design ways of energy-saving in refrigeration were expounded in the paper. The feasibility of cold storage applying to refrigeration storage was discussed. Put forward the preliminary reform programs of energy saving in existing refrigeration storage.
