As an advanced dynamoelectric method, Gas-Steam Combined Cycle has the advantage of high efficiency and low pollution. Huge capacity Gas-Steam Combined Cycle is rapidly developed in our country for these years to meet the demand of sustainable development and low pollution, but the corresponding simulation study of static and dynamic characteristics is slowly developed. It can't satisfy the requirements of that unit's economical and safe operation study. The paper takes GE's STAG 109FA Combined Cycle as the study object, builds the corresponding static and dynamic mathematical model and develops it's simulation system by use of Matlab/Simulink soft.The paper modularizes the calculation of the gas and the steam's thermal properties by Matlab/Simulink. It is very convenient for use. The requirement thermodynamic parameters for S109FA Combined Cycle's simulation have been calculated. Through the simulation experiment, the paper emphasizes on the GSCC's operation characteristics and parameter change in full scale. Furthermore, the paper analyses the GSCC's dynamic characteristics when the amount of fuel and feed-water changes. The superheater's and economizer's models also have been discussed. The result shows that the static condition is consistent with GE's data and the dynamic trend is reasonable. The paper's study will contribute to the GSCC's operation guide, adjusting and thermal system's analysis.The paper modularizes the Combined Cycle's component models for the sake of module and code's reuse. It meets the demand of visual simulation.
