With the development of building industry in our country, plywood for concrete form for building Engineer is very large. Using of plywood for concrete form by wood material, it is not only waste wood resources, but also an effect on environment, to need developing new material of replace wood. Wood-fiber plastics composites are prepared from plant fiber and plastics, and some processing aids, which are mixed at high temperature and then molded process. It is applied to building and packaging industry replacing wood material. This paper mainly introduces compound and processing and property of rice husk/ polypropylene wood-fiber plastics composites for building formwork, so as to make a good basis for the industrialization of wood-fiber plastics composites.The forming of wood-fiber plastics composites is complicated process determined by various factors for physics and chemistry. Physics mechanical properties of rice husk / polypropylene composites are greatly effected by formula factors and processing condition. The paper studies rice/poly propylene composites for building formwork, and introduces research work content.1 Review is introduced for literature of building formwork of wood-fiber plastics composites.2 Basic properties of rice husk and polypropylene material is studied.3 Properties of rice husk/ polypropylene wood-fiber plastics composites effected by compounds and processing conditions parameter are studied and analyzed from microcosmic structure and macroproperty.4 Compounds and processing technology are lay down for building formwork of rice husk/ polypropylene wood-fiber plastics composites, and basic properties is determined, and so on make a reference of industrial production.In this paper, rice husk is used as framework material in rice husk/ Polypropylene composites as much as possible under the condition that meet the demand of using for building formwork. In experiment, several prescriptions are designed. At last, a technique viable and economic prescription is gained. The resulting optimized prescription of rice husk/polypropylene composites is : rice husk 60, polypropylene 40, et at. The properties of product made of this prescript- ion are: 6_b=51.5 MPa; E_b=3470 MPa .This study is making wood fiber-plastics composites forming of building industry, which is a way of dealing waste plant fiber. This may not only save wood resources, but also decrease the pollution of waste plant fiber, and have high economic and social profit.
