To solve the problem that it is hard to improve the performance of some special-uesd pump such as low special-speed sanitation pump, with the interior flow simulation and structural optimization and the low special-speed centrifugal pump as the research objects, combined with a low special-speed sanitation centrifugal pump as the investigative object with which interior flow simulation and structural analysis were dealed. Steady operation characteristics and interior flow of low special speed pump under multi-work operations are studied in detail by Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) technology as well as prediction of steady flow performance.The development process and present research conditions of centrifugal impeller interior flow numerical simulation are narrated. The modeling of impeller and method of mesh and setting of boundary conditions are expatiated. At the same time, the prediction method of low special speed flow pump exterior characteristics can be given according to the calculation results.Steady fluid field are simulated by CFD software under multi-work conditions of sanitation centrifugal flow pump. Interior flow characteristics and exterior performance of mixed flow pump are analyzed roundly, while compare numerical analysis results with experiment results.Based on the original model analysis, interior flow characteristics and exterior performance of low special-speed sanitation centrifugal pump with different structure and hydraulic parameters, and analyze the results. Analyze the influence of three hydraulic parameters to the performance of the pump by the means of neutral network based optimization, and give the optimization process and a figure.Give the program methods for the test validation, testing and analysis. Complete the debugging of the test system, made the foundation for the next testing.The work of this paper builds the numerical simulation system of low special speed centrifugal flow pump, and analyzes the steady interior flow characteristics and exterior hydraulic performance of low special speed sanitation centrifugal pump. The results not only provide the theory foundation for development and optimization of low special speed centrifugal, but also enrich the theory and application of low special speed centrifugal flow pump. Therefore, it is have strong actual application value.
