With the large-scaled using of natural gas, the market of natural gas in shanghai will have a continual and high-speed growing. The implementation of Wuhaogou gas spare station has vital significance to safeguard the fuel gas supply for shanghai, so the location-selecting and stability of this special purpose wharf become very important. Since the conditional limitation, previous researches on stability were usually hard to get some breakthrough in the theories and methods. In this paper, the author focus on the questions of bank slope stability in the "Wuhaogou gases spare station special-purpose wharf" project attended, by using qualitative and dual-levels fuzzy computing on submarine and aquatic bank slopes, in the fields below:1. The demand of the Yangtze delta to expel the flood and release the sand could besatisfied by the overall current energy. As the divergence position of the chanels up and down, raise and fall, the downward river bed assumes certainly flushing silt changes by the influence of the upstream bedload. The South channel is the long-standing and relatively stable section. To south side of the South Channel, its sliting is primarily made by the temporary sand transited in the upstream current. At present, the upside trench in The South channel approaches on the South bank all the time and has not been obviously influenced by the upstream water and sand condition. The sliting of downside channel, however, is changing with the condition of the upstream water and sand. The contour shallower than -8 m-depth is extremely stable, though the -10 m trench changes remarkably, but it cannot affect the stability of natural gas spare station special-purpose wharf;2. Appraisal about the stability of submarine bank slope in Project region: The projectarea is located at 4000 m downstream of Wuhaogou. Nearby the wharf the region take the -8 m depth contour as the change pitch point, where shallower than that beath is stable, isobaths horizontal departure amplitude really small; where deeper than that the silting scope starts to increase and be obviously influenced by the changing of water and sand condition. But once the water sand conditionally become stable, the water depth in this section can be restored rapidly.with the potential of upstream being controlled gradually and the South channel lower segment river potential becoming stability, the -10 m isobaths in front of the project will extend abut upon the shore;3. Appraisal about the stability of aquatic bank slope in project region: By analysising the mainly uncertain information which affects the stability of aquatic bank slope to choose the appraisal target influencing stability, by using the level analytic method to determine power value vector. This project established multistage fuzzy judgment model for the stability, and make reasonable appraisal to stability. Wuhaogou gases spare station special-purpose wharf in the existing soil body ingredient as well as under the water line distribution condition is basicly stable, unless the current situation of ground water elevation in Shanghai area changes obviously and suddenly, this coastal section will keep steady at all; 4. By using different method to analysis the stablity of same bank slope, the limitation of results has been avoided, and the accuration been more credible than previous analysis judgment.
