Research Of Distribution Automation System Based On GIS

This thesis, based on Anshan distribution, analyses the necessity,urgency and aim of the practice of distribution automation and introduces the application and development of it at home and aboard.This thesis introduces the content,function and structure of distribution automation.The thesis introduces distribution geographic information system,distribution station,distribution substation and distribution terminal units.Geographic information system introduces the data structure,map management and facility management. Feeder automation can be used for implementing the functions of auto sectionalization of faulty sections and auto restoration of non-faulty sections. Thus, the interruption time of power supply is reduced and the reliability of distribution network is improved.Finally, the communication method in the distribution automation system is simply analyzed.
