Urban Rail Transit System is a modern means of transportation in many cities. In recent years, Urban Rail Transit System is developed rapidly in China. Compared with other transit systems, Urban Rail Transit System has the advantages of large passenger capacity, high speed, safety and credibility and punctuality. However, with the standard of living and the consciousness of environmental protection being improved, attention has been focused on the noise and vibration caused by Urban Rail Transit System. In order to make sustainable development, it is necessary to decrease vibration and noise for Urban Rail Transit System. So it is important and necessary to study and control the vibration and noise of Urban Rail Transit System.As a new type structure of low vibration, floating slab is widely used in our country and all over the world. Based on the rubber-bearing floating slab of Guangzhou Metro and the present literatures, a three-dimensional coupling vehicle-rail-floating slab system model is established and calculated with the use of the general dynamic analysis software-ADAMS. The dynamic performances of the floating slab and the efficiencies of the vibration isolation are analyzed in detail.According to the analysis results and practical need, many important data that influence the effect of the vibration isolation are got, such as the stiffness of the rubber-bearing. The suggestions on the design, construction and maintenance of the floating slab track are put forward.
