The PID controller has the simple structure, strong compatibility, strong robustness and does not rely on the precise model of controlled object, therefore, applies widely in the commercial application. The PID control is a classical control method, has nearly spread the entire industrial automation domain, it is the actual industrial production process normal operation basic guarantee; The controller performance directly relates with the production process of the steady highly effective and the product final quality, therefore the question research about the PID controller design and the parameter tuning not only determines price and also has bigger practice significance.But the PID controller parameters mostly rely on the present adjusting experience of control engineer accumulated to configure, thus Often cause very inaccessible satisfying degree. The investigation which carries on the industry practice recently demonstrated the actual control loops that surpasses 90% is the PID type in Japan, Canada and England, 30% controllers of which are operated in the manual pattern, and 20% loops of which according to the present experience to configure, only very the lower range control loops work in the good configuring condition. Especially regarding time-variable system or nonlinear system, when the system model has the changed according to the produced process or variation of load, the PID controller parameters often cannot promptly adjusted immediately.In view of these questions, this document make following works. First, it has carried on the quite systematic summary for the PID controller parameters configuring methods, the basic principle, the development history and the situation of the present situation and the trend of development. It conduct massive simulated researches on the general application of industrial object according to several kind of typical control methods by simulation software of MATLAB/SIMULINK. Mostly aimed at ISTE of superior setting method and self-regulated method of control based on relay-feedback to conduct the related research for their application feasibility, it has analyzed advantages and disadvantages of each kind of existing control method, And aims at their superior respect, the shortcoming, it propose a new method of system identification base on relay control, and verified by MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation. Is well, it has completed the design of hardware and software of system. Through using the self-regulated algorithm of PID control, finally it design one kind of practical temperature controller, which achieved the Control precision for ±0.02℃ in room temperature~300℃ and the control precision for ±0.05℃ in 300℃~420℃.
