Vehicles for transportation frequently start up and brake because of the difficult situations, so the inertial energy of vehicles would waste by the way of heat energy, how to recycle it is very important for us and will benefit the vehicles. The Auxiliary Brake System will absorb this kind of energy and release it, maybe this system will extend to the wheel-type vehicles which frequently start up and brake.Recycle the energy will make good use of fuel as a result to economize it. This project will ameliorate the leakage of exhaust gas. On braking, the kinetic energy will be stored further to release if vehicles start up. This method will solve the problem of pollutant which is released by vehicle when engine extra work and relieve use frequency of clutch and arrester and improve their longevity. How much is recycled is based on the recycle ratio of energy. In order to make sure of it, we should take care of the performance and qualification of hydraulic components. This dissertation includes 5 chapters.Chapter 1: it describe the meaning of study of recycle system and point out the deficiency of present brake system, then analyze the popular problem of present brake system. It describes application of recycle system and the study objective and direction.Chapter 2: it describes the work principles of two brake systems and then contrasts their structures. At the end of chapter 2, it points out this auxiliary brake system can be added to the present vehicles which can be retrofitted and improved. Chapter 3: it analyzes the static and dynamic performance of hydraulic components and the factor of stability of Auxiliary brake system, while account forthe key component of Auxiliary brake system– hydraulic motor/pump to give the fundamental influential factor, which is curve shape of motor/pump which affect the stability brake torque and rotate velocity.Chapter 4: after researching and analyzing performance of auxiliary brake system, conclusions are drawn as follows,1) The vehicle with auxiliary brake system increases the capabilities of brake in evidence under the conditions that clamp arrestor provide the same brake torque; 2) Under the condition of the same deceleration ratio, the clamp arrest provides less brake torque than before, and the friction is less as a result the heat energy decreases obviously;3) Under the condition the clamp arrest providing the same brake torque with before, the brake distance is less than before; The recycle ratio of energy with auxiliary brake system as follow:ε= (1 -k )(m 2vP21 2V 1?mv12)Chapter 5: conclusions and deficiency are drawn for this thesis, although the theory base is provided, limited to the duration for study, the pending problem such as experiment and theory analysis will be resolved soon.
